     At Pixiboard, we have one goal: to make commerce between locals frictionless. In order to achieve this, we have opted to stick to three simple principles. Connect. Share. Magic. Through these principles, our philosophy, we aim to revolutionize how locals buy, sell, and ultimately transact between each other.
 
Recently, we had the opportunity to put our philosophy to the test. Friday, May 9th, we hosted our first promotional event at Pacific Cookie Company in Berkeley, CA. In doing so, we were able to Connect with residents and students, as well as local small businesses, in a bid to encourage sign-ups on our site.

We Shared, emulating what we hope locals around to do one day (through posting items, offering services, or promoting events) by giving away delicious melt-in-your-mouth chocolate chip cookies and cookie ice cream sandwiches. And what a Magical experience it was.

By the end of the day, Pacific Cookie Co. got some great promotion. Berkeley students got a break from the tolling demands of studying and an awesome cookie. We got to generate some much needed interest around Pixiboard (and a whole lot of sign-ups). Best of all, we all Connected. Shared. and made Magic.
